What is a vehicle wrap? Is it paint?
A vehicle wrap is a hi-tech vinyl covering that is adhered directly to your vehicle. The application is so precise, it is often mistaken for a custom paint job.
Does it matter what color my vehicle is?
No. A vehicle wrap is not translucent, so you cannot see through it.
It looks like there are graphics on the windows, will I still be able to see through the windows?
Yes. The window graphics for the rear and side windows are printed on perforated vinyl so you can see through them.
Do you wrap the front side windows?
No. State laws prohibit the use of wraps on driver and passenger side windows, as well as the windshield.
Do you wrap the roof?
On most automobiles, the roof is included. Generally, we do not wrap roofs on larger vehicles such as vans, trucks or SUVs unless you request it.
Can you wrap a fiberglass or chrome bumper?
We can wrap a painted plastic bumper. In the case of fiberglass or chrome bumpers, vinyl application on these areas is not recommended, and it is not guaranteed to adhere during the life of the wrap.
Can you wrap hubcaps or rims?
We do not wrap any part of the wheel.
Can you wrap trailers, trucks, vans, SUVs and boats?
Absolutely! If it rolls or floats, we can wrap it!
Can PTGXtreme make custom magnets for my vehicles?
Yes we can, and we do! We can create custom high-resolution magnets in any quantity. Many company owners provide magnets for everyone in the office, including receptionists, secretaries and spouses.
Do you produce vinly signs and graphics?
Absolutely! Ask to see a sample of our vinyl display ads. We manufacture many types of vinyl signs, posters, POP displays and wall and floor graphics.
Why use PTGXtreme for a wrap instead of painted or vinyl lettering?
Applying paint decreases your vehicle's value. The same applies for vinyl lettering, which can cause fading or shadowing on the original paint. In addition, a vehicle wrap looks much more stunning and appealing.
what if I plan to change my company logo or phone number in the future?
Not a problem. We can print logos, phone numbers, websites, etc., as overlays on the wrap. That way we can easily replace them if you switch companies or change information.
Will my company pay for my wrap?
Many companies will pay or reimburse you for your vehicle wrap. Most companies realize the advantage of investing in such a cost-effective form of advertising. If they aren't familiar with PTG Xtreme, we will be happy to send them information or speak directly to them.

Will the wrap damage my vehicle's paint?
No. A vehicle wrap, when applied and removed correctly by a professional installer, does not damage your vehicle's paint unless the paint is already damaged or the car has been repainted.
Can I take my wrapped vehicle through a car wash?
Yes. You can wash it just like you did before it was wrapped, but wax is not recommended. We recommend brushless car washes.
What if I dent a side of my vehicle. Can my wrap be fixed?
Yes, we can easily replace the damaged pieces or panels of your car wrap.
